Depression-A Modern Age Problem

In this modern competitive world success or failure is what drives a person. A person may give his/her best shot, yet may face failure. If these failures get repeated then that person gets frustrated. Over time a sense of feeling appears that he/she is worthless and good for nothing. Then a sense of depression sets in and the person gets sucked into a void, a black hole. This feeling should not be confused with just sadness which is temporary. The person tends to lose his/her normal being and withdraws into himself/herself. The signs of depression may wide ranging from a feeling of hopelessness, losing any sort of interest in work, family, relations, eating disorders etc. A deep insight into it will reveal the real causes and what has lead that person into this. But there is cure for all this. All is needed is a little bit of professional help, patience and a lot of self-belief. Obviously a person has to believe that he/she can and will get better. To get proper depression treatments the person has to face the truth that he/she requires help. To do this requires a lot of guts but the result afterwards can be wholly rewarding.
